Care Guide

Our pieces are exclusively fashioned from handwoven silk, linen, and wool. These enduring natural materials, more robust than their industrial counterparts, promise lasting wear for years. Discover the secrets of preserving your SEVENMUSES pieces with our Care Guide below, ensuring they endure gracefully.

How to care after your 100% handwoven silk design?

The Elegance of Silk

You found a delicate silk clothing piece. To preserve it, hand wash it gently in cold water without wringing or scrubbing. Rinse until the water runs clear. Lay it flat on a towel, rolled up to remove excess water. Dry it away from direct sunlight. Iron at a low temperature with a cloth as a buffer.

We usually recommend dry cleaning for our products, as it is the safest option. If you’d like to care for your silk at home, please check our detailed tips here.

How to take care of your linen blend material?

Linen Blend Material

Machine washing is permitted for linen blend materials. Remember to use cold water and a gentle cycle, washing with similar colors or preferably a single clothing piece to be on the safe side. Hang it on the line or lay it flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, and iron it while slightly damp. If your material contains a higher percentage of silk, follow the silk washing instructions. Hand-wash or dry cleaning recommended.

How to take care of cotton blend silk material?

The Organic Cotton Connection

Machine wash organic cotton blend materials on a low temperature and gentle cycle, using an eco-friendly detergent. Air dry promptly, and use steam iron as needed. It is preferable to select the silk setting and place a cloth between your SevenMuses design and the iron while pressing your product.

How to take care of your wool blend material?

The Warmth of Wool

To address small stains on our wool blend material, use a damp cloth and mild detergent. Hand wash with a wool-specific detergent if necessary. Lay it flat on a towel to dry, keeping it away from direct heat and sunlight. Wool items may necessitate professional dry cleaning. Avoid over-washing your cashmere and wool pieces. Allow them to air out between uses and wash only when absolutely necessary. You can choose between hand washing and machine washing, but be sure to use cold water and preferably a dedicated wool program when machine washing. Avoid spinning.

Caring for Your Precious

Kashmir Scarf

To wash a delicate Kashmir scarf, use cold water and a mild detergent, gently submerge and agitate the scarf, then rinse thoroughly. Afterward, remove excess water by rolling it in a towel, lay it flat to air dry, and lightly iron if necessary on the lowest setting with a protective cloth. Treating your scarf with this gentle approach will help maintain its beauty and softness.
